What is MyPay?

MyPay serves as a mobile application enabling users to conveniently conduct online inquiries and payments services of agencies such as local governments, PTPTN, Zakat etc.

How to download the MyPay application?

The MyPay application can be downloaded through Google Playstore and Apple AppStore.

How to register a MyPay account?

Registration can be made using the user's Identification card number (MyKad).

Why register using an identity card number?

Registration using an identification card is one of the security functions where our users will go through the eKYC verification process to use services such as PTPTN payment and authority summons review.

Is it safe if I provide my bank account information to MyPay?

Yes. MyPay application offers security features such as biometric authentication and e-KYC verification to secure user's data and information.

Coin Conversion

How do I convert coins?

To convert coins, customers can book an appointment through MyPay application to select preferred locations for coin conversion service.

May I know the location and operating hours of the coin conversion counters?

Current information on operating hours can be found in the MyPay application.

Can I just walk-in without making an appointment?

Yes, but we recommend that customers make an appointment in advance to avoid long queues.

Can I convert coins without completing the profile and eKYC in MyPay application?

Yes, customers can complete their profile and eKYC at a later stage.

How will I get the value of coins converted?

The value for coins converted will be transferred to your bank account. The transfer process takes at least 2 - 3 working days excluding holidays and weekends.

Are all coins accepted for conversion?

We accept 5 cents, 10 cents, 20 cents and 50 cents from all series, and are in good condition for conversion.

What is the minimum and maximum amount accepted for coin conversion?

There is no maximum limit for coin conversion and the minimum amount converted is RM5.

Will I be charged for coin conversion?

Yes, there is a 5% service charge for any amount of conversion.

How do I check the transaction status?

Customers can check the transaction status in the MyPay application, under the "Transactions" tab

Will I receive bank notes in cash at the counter after the coin conversion is done?

No. After the coin conversion is made, customers will receive the amount into their registered bank account within 2-3 working days.

Does MyPay provide e-wallet services?

Currently, MyPay does not provide e-wallet services.

What should I do if I don’t receive the amount converted after 3 days?

If this happens, please follow the steps below:

  1. Check the registered bank account information in the MyPay application

  2. Report to us if there are any errors in the bank account information

  3. Contact us to check the status of the transaction

Where can I download the MyPay application?

Customers can download the MyPay application on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. For Huawei smartphone users, the MyPay application is no longer available in the Huawei AppGallery for now.

Coin Purchase For Business

How do I purchase coins?

Customers can make a purchase by:

  1. Going to any of our KOCEK kiosk; or

  2. Making an order through Kocek's customer service line

Will I be charged for coin purchase?

Yes, there is a 2% service charge coin purchase.

May I know the location and operating hours of your counters to purchase coins?

The operating hours and location of the coin conversion counters are as follows:

  1. Subang Parade
    Level G, Main Entrance 2
    Monday to Sunday (10.00 am - 7.00 pm)

  2. Berjaya Times Square, Jalan Imbi
    Level LG
    Monday to Sunday (10.00 am - 8.00 pm)

  3. NSK Trade City, Kuchai Lama
    Level B1 (Near Mr. DIY)
    Monday to Sunday (10.00 am - 7.00 pm)

Operating hours are subject to change based on public holidays in Malaysia. Accurate information on operating hours can be found and checked through the MyPay application.

How do I make payment for coins that have been purchased?

For over the counter purchases, customers can pay through QR or online banking transfer. Whereas, for pre-booked purchases, customers can make payments via online banking.

Does KOCEK provide coin delivery services?

Yes, for purchases exceeding RM 25,000 and paid online in advance.

When can I collect coins purchased through pre-order?

When booking, customers can choose the date and time to pick up the coins. Coins can be picked up as early as 24 hours from the time of order depending on current stock.

Can I use a rider service (eg. Lalamove) to pick up coins on my behalf?

We do not encourage any use of riders / third parties in any transaction made. However, it is at the user's own discretion and risk.

Do I need to register an account in the Kyteapp application to purchase coins?

Yes, this will make it easier for customers to review transactions and receive purchase receipts.

Can I make more than one pre-order at a time?

No, our system does not allow for more than one pre-order until the previous pre-order has been completed.
